So as you guys have read in my past few posts, I have been experiencing a large number of technical difficulties. I believe I’ve found the reasoning behind why God has subjected me to this torment. I’ve been obsessed with so many material things…upgrading my computer, getting a better phone, new clothes, new bedding, etc, etc…and that’s wrong. I have to accept what I’m given and not try to find ways to scrape together money for things I don’t need, especially when that money should be used for other things or should be saved. So there you have it! My revelation!
Well, it doesn’t look like she is going to come back to life, so farewell, my day old iPhone. It was a nice fling…

In other happier news, my new computer case came in today - in one piece! Let’s keep our fingers crossed that everything ELSE I bought works. It’s also spring break! I’m basically having a work sandwich. Work today through Sunday, off Monday through Wednesday, and work Thursday through Sunday. Boy, will THAT be fun…anyways! Until next time!
Isn’t it exciting? Not only do I have a new layout, though, but I also have a new Etsy store! Check it out at: hollycenations.etsy.com! I don’t have any items up at the moment, but I will soon, so keep a look out for em!
In other news…I got a new iPhone. Great, I know! …until I dropped it in the toilet. Well, it is currently sitting in a container of rice, which is supposed to suck out all the moisture so that it will somehow work again. I had the phone for approximately…27 hours when this happened. I just haven’t been too lucky lately…here is my phone’s current rejuvenation chamber status:

My computer is still MIA, as well. I got all of my parts in to fix and upgrade it, but the tower came in broken. Sooo, I had to ship that back and wait or a new one. It shipped today. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that nothing ELSE goes wrong.
School is awesome, too. Tomorrow is ’spend-the-whole-day-in-Davis-Hall-so-you-can-catch-up’ day. That kinda gives you an idea of how it’s REALLY going.
Anyways! That’s enough for one belated post. Until next time!
Every sophomore art major is required to participate in what we call the Sophomore Show. This is a time of evaluation and freaking out, naturally. The evaluation process during this event is what determines whether or not we continue with the art program, particularly with the Bachelor of Fine Arts program. One has to be approved to pursue a BFA. So anyways, this year was mine and Sarah’s year. Sarah is one of my lovely room mates, by the way. We slaved for days over our walls and deciding which pieces to enter. All of our work has finally paid off, though! So now I bring a few snapshots of our show!

Below is Sarah’s wall.

In the next few weeks, all of the art professors will be examining every nook and cranny of our art and performance to see if we are worthy of continuing in the program. Wish us luck!
So in the past few months, one of my goals in life has been to befriend a squirrel. Here is an update to let you see how that has been going. Shortly after purchasing some squirrel food from PetSmart, I started to get some extraordinary results.

So as you can see…the squirrels around my apartment are getting spoiled. It’s only a matter of time before they get comfortable enough with me to feed FROM MY HAND!!! Only a matter of time…
